This is a plain story, but it never becomes primitive. A simple, but touching story about simple people in the ordinary circumstances. It is a film that it is possible to be happy if your internal sun shines.

We want to make a delicate, ironic - and at the same time improbably vital, alive. To my mind the choice of actors is the most important in the film. we focuse on real, impressive, strange faces to make actor's play look “unprofessional” which gives some natural shades.

Sergei, the main character is not a man of activities, he is passive. He has no firm belies. He meets different people, gets acquainted with them, but from the very beginning he knows, that very soon he will go further and meet other people. People of various character and a social status live under the roof of a doss house. Each of them is the individual. The worker Kohlya, with dying wife Anna, and Feodor, who is dreaming about better life, and the Actor, full of memories on this pastr glory, and Natasha looking for real Love. All of them deserved better life. The title "Temporary Life " contains big sense. People at the bottom of life will never rise to light, but they do not lost hope yet, they do not despair and search for changes.

The main task is to transform a real life into a film.

The visual decision of the film - the static camera. The static camera monitoring heroes. Sometimes the camera moves, but mostly without sharp moves. Frames change thoughtfully, slowly. A kind of maditating style. Moves of the camera should not distract attention from characters and plocations. Mutual relation of heroes reveal owing to change of the staff and installation. The camera will follow the characters. The camera should not see what is have not seen by the character. The spectator will follow of an action together with the character. But at the same time to be apart from it. Not to not see with its eyes, but to see its reaction on occuring.

Film will be done under as an emotional condition, as a transitions from tragedy to a comedy. Laughter through tears. In the script it is necessary to search for more paradoxes and different conditions of characters. The similar course allows to give to characters volume and emotional deep. To fill with their humour, irony, to make their clear and accessible to the board world audience.

Season - autumn. Trees are still covered with multi-coloured leaves. And already it became somehow silent, as though all noise was absorbed with rotten leaves.
A colour score
Film should be done in color. Not very contrasted, prevails red, yellow and dark blue colors. It is film about loneliness, and St.Petersburg-it is city - phantom, and dark blue color will strengthen this impression.
