Ñoming soon / Myths of My Childhood

Though love stories have become classical in the world literature and cinema some psychological and physiological aspects of human relationships had been forbidden and still scandalize some goodies.
A true and implausible love story involving a 15-year-old teenager and 25-year-old beauty is the tenuous framework on which is hung the description of the depths of the teenager’s consciousness and his craving for the Great Lady shattered by the grim reality.
The prospected film project concerns the romance and disloyalty, quest for God and paradise attained by foul means.
The action is set in the small seaside village of Nedvigovka that replaced the sanctuary of Tanais, the ancient Greek Goddess of death. Being an epitome of the universe Nedvigovka has the cosmogony, rituals and customs of its own. It is inhabited by our protagonists - naive in a big way, open and dedicated. Some of them believe in the triumph of communism while others go out of their way to prove the material roots of soul at the cost of their lives. They are a rare breed of people who adhered to the ancient Slavic paganism, orthodoxy and communist ideology. They belong to the last generation of true enthusiasts whose dreams of happiness became an obsession.
Minor stories or myths about the inhabitants of Nedvigovka will intertwine with the solid thread of the narrative. Stories of the elderly Evdokh, old believer, and major Cheblakov, famous sniper, are termed the epic history of Russia. The myths will be filmed in the manner of the Great Silent Cinema that tended to heroize its characters.
The mythical treatment draws us closer to the life’s enigma for any myth is its festive facade. Once we have got hold of the cyclic nature of our life’s myths we’ll manage to look into the past and future and appreciate our present in the new light.

Myths are narratives fusing the implausible elements with reality in tour de force. At times the authors themselves are amazed at the cock-and-bull stories told by the policeman Grechushkin, the local Homer.
Our coming feature is termed the tragicomedy with elements of a thriller. A 15-year-old teenager-sniper falls head over heels in love with a local bombshell and commits a crime for her sake. But the beauty turned out a swindler and after collecting money she cheated on her suitor, which urged her to quit the village.
The precocious fellow schemes to commit a murder. At that point his adolescence, bleak and happy, radiant and illusive, comes to an end.
