“Lenfilm” depot offers to rent a special retro-tram
(on wheels) for historical film shootings
and different occasions
“Retro-tram” is constructed on basis of “ZIL 5301” car,
that gives it an opportunity to cross every surface
without railway and to shoot in every city location.
Wheeled “Retro-tram” is made according
to overall, exterior and functional standards of the
model “MC-2” that existed in the beginning of XX century.
Length – 10 m, width – 2.4 m, height – 3.1 m (without
pantographs). Such trams conveyed passengers in Saint-Petersburg
since middle 20-s to 60-s of XX century.
Nominal retro-tram capacity is 25 seats and 25 standing
places. Depending on shootings tasks the tram can keep
up to 100 passengers and speed up according to its own
basis – “ZIL 5301” car.
Because of the specificity of construction,
“retro-tram” rudder is located in the middle of the
car that doesn’t correspond to the vehicle standards.
That’s why retro-tram should be always escorted by the
road-police.
